"Living in love, not hate"

Murder is such an ugly word especially from the apostle we know as the apostle of love. Yet in I John 3, John tells us in very startling terms that if we hate our brother we are a murderer. Not only does he speak to us in plain terms about hating our brothers but he also gives us a short test of what it means to love our Christian family. Finally, John lets us see the beautiful assurance in loving our brothers and sisters in Christ.
