Who We Are

Welcome to Sunset Church of Christ. We are striving to be Christ's church here in Lubbock, Texas seeking to glorify God in our community and around the world. We have a great heritage here at Sunset, yet we are placing our eyes on living for Jesus today and envisioning an even brighter future.

You may not be familiar with church, all that we do and the language we use, but we want you to know that we are just simple people trying to live like Jesus. We struggle in life just like we imagine you do, but we have found joy, strength and assurance in our walk with Jesus. We would love to share our journey in life with you, pray with you and read the word of God together with you. We don't claim to have all of the answers but we believe that all answers are found in Jesus.

Christianity is relational, therefore we believe in relationships here at Sunset. We want to grow in our relationship with the Lord, with one another and with our neighbors. We hope you will join us as we share our lives in this community. Find a Bible class, join a small group, get involved in a ministry and enjoy developing relationship with God and with this church family. If you seek to build these relationships, we believe that you will find joy, true purpose and be fulfilled in your journey as you grow in your devotion to the Lord.
